| Gang of Motorcycle Lifters Busted , 25 Stolen Two-wheelers Recovered: SSP Patil | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Sept 23: In a major breakthrough, Police busted a gang of motorbike lifters and arrested two accused while it managed to recover 25 stolen bikes. A bike theft case FIR no. 311/2019 u/s 379 RPC was registered on September 22 about motorbike theft. On this incident Police team led by SI Vishal Incharge Police Post Hatli started investigation and during course of investigation Police developed information about bike lifters.
Police team after strenuous efforts today succeeded in arresting two bike lifters involved in the motorbikes theft identified as Rehmat Ali alias Ramtu son of Alam Din of Rajbagh Kathua and Ravinder Saini son of Romesh Chander of Nagri Parole Kathua. On their disclosure, Police recovered 25 stolen two wheelers from different locations. Further investigation is going on to ascertain their involvement in other bike theft cases. |
