| One day awareness programme held at Nagrota | | |

JAMMU, Oct 9: One day Awareness-cum-demonstration programme held at NCC Camping Ground Nagrota Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the supervision of Dy.SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. In the awareness Camp NCC cadets were made aware about the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting, Flood Rescue and other Emergency rescue methods of Rescue along with demonstration by the Civil Defence Instructors. While speaking on the occasion Dy.SP Shashi Thakur and Paramjeet Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence Jammu have delivered valuable lectures on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization. Colonel Amitabh Verma, Camp Commandant CATC J7 Nagrota was highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence organization and thanked Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organizing such important awareness-cum-demonstration programme. He also advised the cadets to become good human beings to serve the society by joining such organization. At least 500 cadets (Boys & Girls) of Jammu province and other training staff of NCC were attended the awareness programme. |
