ReTs demand release of 8 months' salary

Udhampur, Oct 13: J&K Rehbar-E-Taleem Teachers' Forum (RETF) has demanded release of pending salary of last eight months.
According to press release, a meeting of Forum was held at Krishna Palace Ramnagar under the chairmanship of Tehsil President Amit Sharma and senior leader Kuldeep kumar. The meeting was attended by a large number of Teachers of Tehsil Ramnagar
While speaking on the occasion Amit Sharma raised the issue of release of Salary of recently regularised ReTs , Un-regularised ReTs, recently converted RRETs to teachers Grade II and Teachers Grade III as these teachers are without salary for last 8 months. He said that families of these teachers are suffering badly as these teachers are unable to provide the basic necessities to their family members including proper food and clothing to their children and required medicines to their old and ailing parents .He also said that even these teachers are facing very much difficulties to celebrate the festive season.
He appealed the Director School Education Jammu to convert left out graduates to teachers Grade II who have degrees from outside state recognized universities.
