BSS holds 18th Sanskriti Mahtosav

Jammu, Oct 13: Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K organised its 18th Sanskriti Mahtosav and Ganit-Vigyan Mela at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Ambphalla.
The programme was inaugurated by Ved Bhushan Sharma President Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti J&K in the august presence of several other members.
Samir Krishan Sapru presented the welcome address introduced the chief guest and other dignitaries with the audience. 230 students (Bal Vagyanicks) of 17 Vidya Mandir Schools participated in the program under the guidance of 20 science teachers.
The chief guest hailed the efforts of Bhartiya Shiksha Samiti by organizing such events in the state and specially lauded the efforts of students which had come from Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar, Bhaderwah Udhampur, Reasi, Billawar.
Science Quiz, Sanskriti Gyan Quiz, Vedic Ganit Quiz, Paper Reading contests were held in Junior, Sub Junior & Senior categories
Valedictory function cum prize distribution function was held at Bhau Rao Devras Auditorium. Member Parliament Shamsher Singh Manhas was the chief guest on the occasion.
The senior team of scientists, Dr. Sumeet Gairola, Dr. Prashant Misra, Sanjay Sharma from CSIR IIIM Jammu under the patronage of Dr. Ram Vishawkarma Ji Director IIIM Jammu, Rakesh Raina, AGM RBI, Piaray Lal Pandita, Ex Manager PNB, Smt Sudershan Kumari, Retd Principal, Usha Shamindra, Retd AC KV Sangathan were the judges of programme.
