Police arrest 3 vehicle lifters arrest, 4 Scooties recovered

Jammu, Oct 14: Pacca Danga Police have arrested three vehicle lifters and recovered four stolen scooties on the basis of revelation during questioning.
According to sources on October 5, 2019 a case was registered at Police Station Pacca Danga on the complaint of Meera Sharma with regard to theft of her Scooty bearing registration No. JK02BK-0358 from Parade area, accordingly the investigation of case was entrusted to I/C PP Parade, SI Anil Kumar. During investigation, team rounded up number of suspects and developed leads, based on which one Himanshu Gill was apprehended. On his disclosure above said theft scooty was recovered from his possession.
During further enquiry, he admitted that two more persons namely, Sandeep Kumar and Dev Singh are involved in above said vehicle theft case, who were also apprehended. On their disclosure, three more Scooties were recovered from their possession today on October 14, 2019, which they had stolen from different areas of Jammu City. Further investigation is going on.
