SRINAGAR, Oct 14: Advisor to Governor, K Skandan today listened to people's grievances here at the weekly public hearing programme held at Church Lane Srinagar.
During the camp, scores of public deputations and individuals hailing from different areas of Kashmir region put forth their demands and grievances related to Industries and Commerce, Social Welfare, Police, Law & Order, Revenue, Disaster management, relief and rehabilitation, Sports CAPD and other departments besides other public issues and sought Advisor's intervention for early redressal of the same.
A deputation from Zakura Srinagar demanded an establishment of community hall on a Government land. While a deputation from Kursu Rajbagh demanded a drainage in their area as the area witness water-logging during rains.
Meanwhile, a deputation of contractual lecturers demanded regularization of the services while a deputation of traders from Qamarwari demanded possession of shops allotted to them already.
Several other delegations and individuals also met the Advisor and registered their issues and demands.
On the occasion, Advisor Skandan assured the individuals and the deputations that all their genuine grievances would be examined for an early redressal. He also issued on spot directions to the concerned officers for taking cognizance of the issues pertaining to their departments for redressal. |
