SRINAGAR, Oct 14: Crime Branch Kashmir today booked two persons in loan fraud case.
The investigation conducted by the Crime Branch revealed that accused borrower managed fraudulently and deceitfully fake and fictitious NOC in league with another accused on the Bank letter head duly bearing the seal of Bank with an aim to grab the loan amount.
"The accused also used this fake NOC to de-lien his mortgaged property in revenue records, in this way he succeeded to lien his own shared land property to J&K Bank Branch Sheeri as a fresh collateral security and availed CC-loan @Rs. 12 lakh from J&K Bank," a statement of Crime Branch said.
The allegations were substantiated and accordingly charge sheet was submitted before the Court of CJM against accused persons, the statement added. |
