| Army conducts coaching classes for students of Doda | | |

Doda, Oct 15: Army conducted Coaching Classes for 40 students of Class X and XII of Govt School from 12 Sep to 14 Oct 19. The students included 40 boys and 40 girl Students. The Initiative was aimed at providing assistance and coaching to ensure good performance of students in upcoming examinations. Remote areas of Doda District lack facilities for education. It is a hurdle for students to attend coaching at private institutes being costly. In addition, post abrogation of Aricle 370 & 35A, schools in the district remained closed for over 20 days. There was, therefore, a need to guide the students as well as provide them good education for upcoming Board Exams. Mentoring and preparing students for school exams will have a far-reaching effect in the region for the student's preparation for the exam results. The project received an overwhelming response from students and their parents have expressed heartfelt gratitude for addressing the need of quality education to empower their children. |
