Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 15: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Doda today registered disproportionate assets case against Mohd Aslam Parray, the then Head Assistant PWD(R&B) Division Ramban. According to ACB's spokesperson the ACB register a case for accumulating huge assets disproportionate to his known sources of income against the official, under FIR No.08/2019 u/s 5(1)(e) J&K P.C. Act. Svt 2006. "The cognizance into the matter has been taken on the basis of verification conducted into allegations against him that suspect official has accumulated assets in the shape of immoveable/movable properties in his own name, in the name of his wife and other family members viz, triple storey building at Dharmound road Batote on a plot measuring 1 Kanal 10 Marlas in Khasra No.905 (worth Rs. 79,30,305.00, land for Indian Gas agency (worth Rs.18 lacs), a single storey house built near gas agency (value Rs.20 lacs), Wagon-R car (worth Rs.4.15 lacs) and also possesses luxurious household items, costly electronics gadgets, jewellery etc", he added. The spokesperson said after obtaining search warrant from the Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Doda teams were constituted and deputed to conduct house searches of the accused public servant at Batote, Ramban. "During searches Land documents, papers of Gas agency and other incriminating documents were seized", he said, adding that investigation of the case is going on. |
