| Div Com inspects sports stadium work, patient care at SDH | | |

RAJOURI, Oct 15: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma on Tuesday inspected patient care in the Sub divisional hospital and progress of work on sports stadium here at Nowshera.
He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera, Sukhdev Singh Samyal,Additional SP Nowshera GL Sharma and officers of district, sub district administration as well as officers of health department.
The Divisional Commissioner met with patients and inquired from them about the health care services available. He also held a meeting with medical staff and reviewed stock / supply of medicines and other medical facilities in the hospital. The Div Com was informed that all the essential drugs are available in the hospital and on an average 400 to 500 patients visit OPD per day, while the admission in IPD ranges from 40 to 50 patients. Regarding the construction of a new building of the hospital, it was informed that superstructure has been completed and it would be completed within one year if sufficient funds are made available. The Div Com assured for early release of funds.
Later, Divisional Commissioner also visited the sports stadium complex and took stock of the ongoing work there. It was informed that the work has been approved under the languishing project scheme. The concerned informed that the ground levelling has been done by PWD and rest of the work will be done by the sports council.
The Div Com assured that adequate funds will be made available for completion of all main projects in Nowshera including construction of additional hospital complex. |
