jammu, Oct 15: A one day industrial visit to Sudhir Genset at Bari Brahmna, Jammu was conducted for the students of Electrical Engg., Mechanical Engg. and Electronics & Communication Engg Departments. The students were guided by Bharat Singh (Plant Head, Sudhir Genset), Er. Rakesh Sharma (Quality Head, Sudhir Genset).
Simran Kour and Kunal Dabgotra (Quality Control Deptt., Sudhir Genset) briefed the students about the powder coating process involved in painting and various types of production processes involved such as cutting, shearing, bending, notching required for the body of the gensets. Students were also explained about various types of electrical panels involved in the gensets. The students were accompanied by Er Daljeet Kour HOD E&C Deptt.,Er Vijay Singh Chib HOD Electical Engg. Deptt. Another industrial visit was also conducted for the students of Mechanical Engg. Deptt. to Gautam Industries, Sarore, Bari Brahmana. The students interacted with manager Sh. Rajinder Singh. Er. Rahil Sambyal, service Engineer, briefed the students about various types of JCB machines, their working principles and operations. He also explained the various parts of JCB along with their functions. The students were accompanied by HOD Er. H.N Bhat, Lecturers Er.Deepak Kapoor and Er. Gagandeep Singh.
