Jammu, Oct 15: Govt. Degree College R. S. Pura inaugurated the 'Celebration of 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji' by organizing a Painting/ Poster making Competition on the theme "Life and Teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji" under the guidance of Principal, Dr. Sunita Sudan and supervision of Prof Rajinder Singh, Convener, Organizing Committee. About 30 students participated in the event and made enlightening and beautiful paintings and posters depicting the various life events and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Prof. Dileep Raina, Prof. Esha Abrol and Prof. Shaveta Chowdhary coordinated and judged the event.
Navgeet Singh of semester V, Harvinderjeet Kaur and Pallvi of semester I were judged first, second and third in the event whereas consolation prizes were given to Shubham of semester V and Simran Kumari of semester I. |
