Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 15: Editor, Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Sunday asked people to make proper use of their vote by electing the candidate who can deliver. Carrying forward his mass contact programme in Gangyal Garden, Munish said, "It is after seventy years that people of Jammu would get a chance to have their own Chief Minister as after delimitation Jammu region is all set to come at par with Valley viz a viz distribution of Assembly seats." "The next Assembly elections could prove to be a turning point in the history of Jammu & Kashmir and people of Jammu should utilize this opportunity to set the record straight," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency. Munish said, "We should learn from the mistakes which we committed in the past by relying on the leaders, who just forgot us after getting elected. We have given them enough chances and they don't deserve our vote anymore." He said, "I have joined the poll fray with only one intention that I want to fight for the rights of my people and work for the development of Jammu region. I hope my people won't let me down and will give me a chance to serve them." |
