| DIET hosts orientation programme on RTE Act | | |

DODA, Oct 16: A one day orientation programme for the DDOs (Principals & ZEOs ) of Education Department on Right to Education (RTE) Act-2009 & NCF-2005, was held today here at DIET Doda.
Around 70 DDOs from across the District and faculty members of DIET participated in the event.
The workshop was inaugurated by Principal District Institute Education &Training Ch. Lal Hussain.
In his inaugural address the DIET Principal highlighted need and importance of such workshops in the District to sensitize the ground functionaries about the implementation of the provisions of the RTE act in its true spirit.
Threadbare discussion and deliberation were held on role and responsibilities of the Heads of the Institutions and other stakeholders in the implementation of right to education and its various provisions in the schools.
The key persons who conducted the deliberation of the workshop were Parshotam Dass Goria, HOD DIET Doda, Sudesh Kumar Raina, HOD DIET Doda, Rakesh Ganjoo, HOD DIET Doda and Ajit Singh District Resource person. |
