Dharmarth Trust to perform Hanuman Chalisa Path at Raghunath Temple on Tuesdays

JAMMU, Oct 16: To seek blessings of Lord Raghunath and Lord Hanuman for peace, prosperity and progress of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, and to connect the young generation with the rich cultural and traditional values of Hindu religion, the J&K Dharmarth Trust on Wednesday announced to perform Hanuman Chalisa Path on every Tuesday at 6:00 PM in the historic Raghunath Temple of Jammu city.
The decision in this context was taken by the officials of Dharmarth Trust after the conclusion of special programme on Hanuman Chalisa which commenced here at Raghunath Temple on October 1, 2019.
It is pertinent to mention that Dharmarth Trust has roped in traders and businessmen of adjoining markets and prominent business organizations in accomplishing this series of Hanuman Chalisa Path.
In a statement issued by DT representatives, it has been anticipated that the weekly Hanuman Chalisa Path series will rejuvenate the business activity in the markets and shall help business community to prosper and progress ensuring contentment in the life of people. They said that another significant reason behind organizing this weekly religious programme is enthusing moral and ethical values among the children by way of involving them in such religious activities.
Expressing concern over people losing connect with rich heritage of the land, the representatives asserted that this weekly series of Hanuman Chalisa Path is an endeavour to reconnect people with religious ethos that carry the legacy of our deep rooted culture. They appealed to people of Temple City to participate in the aforesaid programme with enthusiasm and asked them to bring their wards along with them to make the activity meaningful and momentous.
