Pak has fears that India may occupy Occupied Kashmir
10/16/2019 10:22:12 PM
Pakistan has fears that India may attack on Occupied Kashmir and that is why the ntire LoC has been under the target of Pakistani troops firing and when India has had no such plan to occupy Occupied Kashmir why should Pakistan resort to ceasefire violations. In a bid to foil any ingress efforts by Pakistan additional troops have been deployed on the LoC as part of the measures to upgrade the security grid . The Army were maintaining high vigil along the LoC in all sectors of Jammu and Kashmir to prevent militants from infiltrating to this side even as intelligence reports suggest three groups of militants were waiting at launch pads to sneak in. This is the reason for violating cea
"The troops are alert to foil any misadventure and respond to any act from across the LoC," an Army official said.
He said the troops along the LoC were on a high alert following the recent skirmishes between the Army and militants in different sectors of Kashmir region.
Reports said that Army were using the Bofors howitzers to prevent militants from sneaking into the Valley while round-the-clock guard and patrolling was being conducted along the LoC. India troops have not only upgraded the security grid but also maintained high degree pat rolling to foil ingress of militants. The in the recent weeks militants, equipped with weapons and ammunition, were engaged in clashes with the Indian troops but most of them were killed that has been the reason that Pakistan claims that Indian troops have been killed while the Indian Army claim that there were about a scored of militants who lay dead and wanted Pakistan troops to take those bodies and bury them while Pakistan Amy claim that the bodies lying on the border were that of India But the Indian troops have asked the UN observers to confirm whether the bodies ly. Ultimately Pakistan has collect ed the bodies of militants which confirms India's views lying on the LoC were that of Pakistan
The official said there had been recent clashes between the Army and militants along the LoC as militants were attempting to sneak in.
However, he said the anti-infiltration grid, which includes regular patrolling by troops, well-built barbed fence, radars and surveillance cameras - besides other measures were in place along the LoC to foil infiltration. And this way sufficient round the clock patrolling and weapons helped the Indian troops to foil the ingress of militants. The scene is there right from Keran to Kathua and there is no respite in ceasefire violations to push in militants and enlarge incidents of violence. An official said troops recently intercepted and foiled infiltration attempt in north Kashmir's border.
