DLC organizes Induction cum Investiture ceremony

Jammu, Oct 17: Dogra Law College organized Induction cum Investiture Ceremony for the students of Ist semester of both BA.LL.B (5years) and LL.B (Prof) 3 years courses. Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust, Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, former minister and president of Dogra Sadar Sabha presided over the ceremony. The ceremony commenced with the lightning of ceremonial lamp by all the dignitaries followed by Saraswati Vandana by a group of girl students. Prof. V.P. Magotra Principal, Dogra Law College welcomed the students and explained the rules and regulations being followed in Dogra Law College, library facilities and the discipline. Col. K.N. Padha, Director, Dogra Educational Trust delivered a very motivational speech. Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust also shared his views. Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman, Dogra Educational Trust in his presidential address encouraged the students to work hard and motivated them to achieve their goals in life. Seven meriterous students were given scholarship cheques by The Chairman. These were Alisha Bhagat for achieving first position in University of Jammu, Pratyaksh Dutta, Sonali Rampal, Vaishali, Digant Das, Shubankar Sharma and Harshini Slathia. The class representatives of Ist semester of B.A LL.B and LL.B courses were bestowed with CR badges.
