Rajouri, Oct 17: The 2nd randomization of polling staff for Block Development Council (BDC) Elections was today held here under the chairmanship of the District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad in presence of the observers.
Deputy District Election Officer Rizwan Asger, Additional District Informatics Officer Ashwani Sharma, Election Naib Tehsildar and other concerned officers attended the randomization process.
Randomization of staff in case of the polling stations in 19 blocks was done with adequate reserve staff.
Later, the DPEO exhorted upon the officers associated with the BDC elections to discharge their allotted duties with utmost dedication and commitment to ensure the conduct of free, fair, smooth elections in the district.
District Panchayat Election Officer also sought a detailed report about the training of the polling personnel. The Deputy District Election officer informed that two phases of training has been already conducted. |
