JAMMU, Oct 18: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri celebrated Sir Syed Day, the 202nd birth anniversary of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.
The event was organized by the faculty and students of Urdu. On the occasion, Dr Manzar Alam, Assistant Professor Department of Arabic delivered the commemoration address. Dr. Manzar Said the Sir Syed believed that shared educational experiences are pillars for achieving peaceful co-existence, collaboration, communal harmony and national progress.
Dr. Manzar said that Sir Syed Vision was embraced by people of all religious communities. Speaking on the ocaasion Dr. Manzar presented Sir Syed as the architect of Modern India. The event was coordinated by Dr. Rizwana Shamsi, Assistant Professor, Urdu. Those who were present on the occasion included, Dr. Shams, Dr. Md, Affan. Dr. Mushtaq wani, Dr. Asif Malik , Dr. Naseem Gul, and other faculty members and students of the University. |
