The Advisor stated this while inspecting several ongoing projects and directed early completion of the same so that holistic development of Srinagar city would be achieved and people would be provided quality housing facilities. The Advisor inspected Shehjaar Housing Apartments being constructed by SDA on vertical pattern with an estimated cost of Rs 306.25 crore. It would have 532 apartments on 2BHK and 3BHK pattern.
The Advisor also inspected proposed satellite colony at Gund Akasha at Parimpora Srinagar, besides Bemina Housing Colony and SDA assets at Sangarmaal.
While inspecting the pace of work at Shehjaar Apartments the Advisor directed the SDA to ensure timely completion of the project. He said that the project should be replete with all the modern housing facilities so that more people are attracted towards it. He said that it should have modern sewerage disposal and drainage network, besides also ensuring other infrastructural facilities which go inconsonance with modern housing and urban facilities. At the proposed site of Gund Akasha, the Advisor directed undertaking holistic measures so that a composite colony having all the modern facilities can be provided to the people.
