| SCC Udhampur appeals to senior citizens to avail facility | | | | Udhampur, Oct 20: Senior Citizens Club Udhampur and its advisory board held a press conference attended by President of the Club ex-SSP Mahadeep Singh Jamwal and advisors of the Club Romesh Kumar Sharma Ex-AGM/JKB and Bharat Bhushan Gupta Ex-Chief Agriculture Officer. While elaborating the activities of the Club, President Jamwal apprised that it discuss the general problems being faced by the senior Citizens and various facilities available to them and project them at the appropriate level so that their redress should come at the door step of senior citizen. Jamwal apprised that few back DLSA Chairman Udhampur and District Administration held a meeting with office bearers' and advisory board of the Club and various facilities being provided to senior citizens was discussed in detail. The Club has decided to work in close liaison with DLSA Udhampur and Administration to propagate the welfare schemes available for the senior citizens. On the occasion President of the Club Mahadeep Singh Jamwal apprised that Senior Citizen Club Udhampur has an experienced Advisory Board comprising of officers retired from State, Provincial and District level from all departments of State Govt, Central Government, Nationalized Banks as well as from Indian Army. |
