Zorawar seeks support of society to intensify war against drug menace

Jammu, Oct 20: Reiterating his resolve to take on-going war against drug addiction to its logical conclusion, Chairman of Team Jammu Zorawar Singh Jamwal on Sunday sought support of every section of the society to eradicate this menace.
"Without support of each and every individual it is impossible to take fight against this deadly menace to the logical conclusion", Zorawar Singh Jamwal said while addressing a public meeting at Gurha Shablian, Bakshi Nagar in connection with the ongoing campaign.
"Neither government agencies alone nor organizations like Team Jammu would be able to liberate our younger generation from the yoke of this deadly disease.
Every right thinking person must come forward to join the war against drug abuse", he said and vowed to intensify campaign for eradicating this menace.
SDPO, Jammu West, DySP, Amit Sharma, in his address exhorted the members of the civil society to jointly launch decisive war against drug menace.
He said that this problem would not be solved by some individual and some particular communities because there is need of joint fight of the people all religions, castes, creeds and colours to single out those who have been involved in playing with the lives of younger generation.
DySP Amit Sharma further presented detailed account of the working of Jammu Police while dealing with drug mafia with iron hands and also guiding drug victims to rehabilitation center.
Among others who spoke on the occasion included Rajeshwar Sharma Raju, Kuljeet Singh Jamwal, Master Jugal Kishore, Er Chandan Datta, Shamsher Singh, Amit Singh, Ashok Gupta, Prem Singh, Rakesh Mishra, Bhagwan Singh, Kamal Sharma, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, H S Jamwal, Ranjit Singh Slathia, Balwinder Singh, Gurdev Singh, Jai Dev Singh Bandral, Haqeeqat Singh, Surinder Sharma and Sunil Gupta.
