Jammu, Oct 20: Jammu Sanskrit School Jammu today celebrated the festival of lights with great pomp and show . The programme with commenced with the welcome of Surjeet Singh (IPS DIG UDHAMPUR) as the Chief Guest. Harpreet Singh Anand (Chairperson of the school),Kanwaljeet Kour, Sonakshi Anand ,Harleen Anand (members from the management) Rohini Aima Principal cum Vice Chairperson of the school, Madhu Abrol and Pooja as guest of honour also graced the occasion.
The inaugural ceremony began with traditional lighting of lamp to invoke blessings from Lord for the success of the event. And then the fun and frolic became evident from spectators faces. The awe struck moment of the day was the raffle draw in which 25 attractive prizes like refrigerator,microwaves, OTG'S,steam irons etc were won by the audience.
The event was relinquished with the stimulating and spurring words of Ms Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the school who conveyed her heartfelt gratitude and wishes on the occasion of Diwali and asserted that anyone alive who wishes to preserve his sanity must first of preserve his sense of humor and sense of wonder while maintaining the culture and tradition which catalyses the ardour to live thereby emanates spiritually. |
