MPEJ urges upon BSNL authorities to release pending salary

Jammu, Oct 20: The members of the Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice in their statement issued here today have once again urged upon the concerned BSNL authorities in J&K state to release the pending 14 months' salary of watch & ward employees of BSNL tower & 11 months' rent of the tower sites immediately and ensure that the monthly charges to the watch and ward employees on this count are released on monthly basis without any delay in future preferably by or before 20th of every month and credited to the respective accounts.
This is Modi ji's good governance & digital India, where 14 months' salary of poor watch & ward employees of BSNL Tower & the 11 months' rent of the site is pending in J&K state & there is no one to take cognizance here in J&K.
The members also appealed to Chief General Manager, BSNL & Principal General Manager BSNL Mobiles J&K state to personally intervene and redress the genuine grievances of these watch & ward employees' of Mobile towers of the site & also fix rent as per Private companies like Airtel, Reliance Jio, Idea, Voda phone etc at the rate of 10,000/= per month rent in Municipal limits & Rs. 7000/= in rural areas and also enhance the salary of watch & ward employees from 3000/= to 5000/= per month at par with private companies or remove all BSNL towers from J&K, they warned.
