Over 380 Ladakhi-Origin cops to be transferred from J&K to Ladakh

New Delhi, Oct 20: Over 380 police personnel belonging to Ladakh and dealing in varied areas in Kashmir and Jammu areas will quickly be transferred to Ladakh and posted under the govt. management of the contemporary Union Territory, officers acknowledged on Sunday. The contemporary Union Territory of Ladakh will come into existence on October 31. The Ministry of Dwelling Affairs has given nod for the transfer of police personnel working in varied wings of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
"Approval has been given for the transfer of about 385 Ladakhi-origin police personnel to Ladakh and they also're going to characteristic under the contemporary UT which is ready to come into existence on October 31," a ministry authentic acknowledged.
The police personnel will work with the Ladakh UT Police, which is ready to be under the order management of the MHA.
