| Deptt's functioning suffers due to shortage of senior officers | | Posts of PO, CDPO Rajouri in SWD lying vacant | | AB Sharma

Rajouri, Oct 20: The functioning of Social Welfare Department Rajouri has come to halt with the absence of prime posts including Programme Officer (PO), Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) in Rajouri district.
Sources told Early Times that the post of Programme Officer has been lying vacant for the last six months and the District SWD Officer has been given additional charge and similarly the post of CDPO Rajouri has been lying vacant and the CDPO Nowshera has been given additional charge.
Locals pointed out that in absence of senior officers in prime posts of Social Welfare Department, the functioning of the department has come to standstill as the junior staff hardly take seriousness to execute their duties. Local appealed the Governor to take note of this matter and to direct officers to take action to fill up these vacant posts immediately. |
