| Rotary Club Jammu observes Handwashing Day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 21: The Rotary Club Jammu under the president ship of Rtn Dr. Anil K Amla organised Hand washing day in Govt. Higher Secondary School Bakshi Nagar Jammu. The project Director of the project was Rtn Sunil Kumar Sawhney. On the eve of Global Hand Washing Day the Rotary Club of Jammu organised a lecture on the subject before the well gathered students of Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Bakshi Nagar Jammu. Rtn Dr. Anil Amla President of the Club and Dr. Gaurav Vaid aware the students about the benefits of hand wash and also told them about the harms of not washing the hands properly before taking meals etc. The students were told that why the proper hand washing is necessary and the occasions when the hand washing should be done. The Project Director Rtn Sunil Sawhney gave live demonstration of seven steps of proper hand washing according to the WHO and UNICEF. Detergents were also supplied to the school authorities for daily use of the students. The school staff was also present and some of the teachers also spoke on the occasion about the necessity of proper hand washing. |
