MLZS presents Nukad Natak on " Say No to Plastic"

kathua, Oct 21: Under the able guidance of the Principal,. Barinder Jot Kaur, the students of Mont Litera Zee School presented a Nakud Natak at Mukharjee Chowk, GDC Kathua and DC Office spreading the message of "Say No to Plastic".
Mrs. Mansi Dua, (Academic coordinator), Ms. Poonam Rajput (Admin Co-ordinator), Mrs Misheal Jamwal (Relationship Managere), Priyanka and Sahil accompanied the participants wherein they delivered the message that plastic bags are non-biodegradable in nature and have already cost us a lot by water logging during rains, bad crops because of plastic in sore, harms aquatic life if thrown in water and also reduces the production of coal and petroleum as it does not break down.
Mount Literans suggested various practical and handy solutions that can help us gradually do away with plastic from our life.
Students distributed handmade carry bag to the crowed to spread awareness about the biodegradables bag to the our environment and planet
Discard plastic bottles at home and school by switching over to glass, clay, stainless steel or copper bottles.
If you have plastic water filters replace them with matkas or clay pots. Most organic and farmers markets offer dry ration paper, cartons and carry bags.
Mrs. Rekha Devi (Vice Chairperson, Municipal Council, Kathua) appreciated the efforts of school in creating awareness among masses and conveyed that PM Mr. Narinder Modi himself has set an example to the nation while during the campaign against single use plastic.
