Jammu, Oct 21: Jammu Chapter of Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) in collaboration with School Education of Jammu organized Heritage Quiz in the multipurpose hall of Government Hr. Sec. School (Boys) Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. 12 Schools of Jammu Participated in twin rounds 1st round written objective type and 2nd Oral round comprising of questions on Cultural Heritage of India, J&K State & Jammu City besides about Intach. The Main aim of this Quiz Competition is to sensitize the School Children towards their rich Cultural Heritage and this type of Heritage awareness programmes connects the young budding students to their roots. Govt. Hr. Sec. School (Boys) Gandhi Nagar, Jammu the Host School had made the elaborate arrangements for the visiting schools:- Jodhamal Public School, Jammu Sanskriti School, APS Jammu Cantt, Govt. Hr. Sec. School (Girls) Shastri Nagar, Jammu, Shri Ranbir Hr, Sec. School Jammu, Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School Mubarak Mandi, Central Basic School, Hari Singh Hr. Sec. School, Girls School Nawabad, Boys School Nawabad, Govt. Girls School Canal Road, Jammu participated in the quiz competition. Inaugural Session started with the welcome address by Shafqat Chib, the Principal of the Host School followed by a brief about the Cultural Heritage of our Great Nation India and J&K Jammu in particular by Prof. Sudhir Singh Jt. Secy. Bose & a very prominent heritage lover & Member of Intach Jammu Chapter.
