| Save Water campaign begins JNV Chandigarh | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 22: Save Water campaign started in JNV Chandigarh with gentle nudge given by Kamal Krishna (PGT,HISTORY) and Nodal Officer of the campaign. He sensitized students towards most burning issue Afforestation and water conservation. He chalked out different awareness activities, academic programme and academic contest for the year 2019-20 to involve each students and staff in the campaign. Campaign started with Tree plantation drive in the school premises from Udaygiri Girls House with theme #each one plant one and slogan #oneplantonechild. The drive could be successful Due to active involvement of House Mistress Madhu Singh (TGT,SS) Who is also the Member of school level campaign. Dozen of plant were planted and adopted by girls. Madhu Singh planted a mango plant which was adopted by a girl name Khushi. Students took pledge to take care of the plant as their siblings. In the phase manner Plantation drive will be continued in the school to realize the goal of plantation of approx. 500 fruit bearing and soil binding trees within campus. |
