Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 22: Jammu and Kashmir Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (JKEPFO) had decided 100 days for digitalisation of record in August, 2018 but after lapse of 15 months, the digitalisation of record is still in limbo.
Sources informed Early Times that the JKEPFO had decided digitalisation of organisation' record and hired a Lucknow based firm- Marg Software Solution Pvt Limited in month of August, 2018 and decided the digitalisation work would be completed before October 31 of the same year but ironically, the digitalisation is still not completed and the work is going on snail pace.
"Everyday more than 100 employees from the different district headquarters have visited the main head office Jammu for the settlement of their provident cases but all of them have returned empty hands because their records have not been found due to digitalisation of work which is going on snail pace", said sources while wishing anonymity.
An employee of Kathua district alleged that he had applied in the said organisation for settlement of his provident fund case nearly four years back, but the same cases still not settled down and they have been forcing to make rounds of round to get his provident fund. "However, official who were deputed in district as well as main office have settled down some cases during the process of digitalisation those who have been applied recently but those who applied years backs are still waiting.
Sources further said that however, the hired firm (Marg Software Solution Pvt Limited) has deputed two to three its employees at district headquarters for digitalisation of record and nearly one dozen have been deputed at Main Head Office, Railway Road Jammu but despite all of these, the hired firm has succeeded to complete digitalisation of record upto 50 percent and remaining would be digitalised.
