| Sat kick starts construction works for Multipurpose Hall at Janipur | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 23: Providing best possible infra to the inhabitants of Jammu West at their doorsteps, Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) kickstarted construction works for Shiva multipurpose community hall at Janipur Colony. Sharma was also accompanied by Corporator Ward 37 Sunita Gupta, JMC officials, local residents and political activists of the area. The funds for construction of hall were sanctioned from the CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme of Former MLA which was sanctioned during his tenure and its work was delayed due to code of conduct of elections and other reasons, but the work was taken up as soon as the process got cleared. The works will be done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rupees 5.28 lakhs. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the hall once constructed can be used by the locals for many things. He said that earlier there was no proper accommodation for performing Ram Leela in the Ward but after the construction of hall, many things will be sorted out and there will be a proper place for performing such things which hold religious importance in our culture. |
