Samba, Oct 23: The presiding officer along with their team were today dispatched from DC office Samba Headquarter for conduct of the Block Development Councils 2019; in 09 blocks including Samba, Ramgarh, Vijaypur, Rajpura, Bari-Brahmana, Ghagwal, Purmandal, Nud and Samba.
On the occasion the Deputy Commissioner Samba said that all the designated officers including returning officers, Presiding Officers and P1 & P2 shall discharged their duty impartially and unabashedly. He informed that all the necessary election material has been provided to the election conducting officers and there shall be no tolerance for any lacuna. DC also over viewed the complete transportation facility provided to the polling parties and security personals along with other logistic facilities. polling parties were provided with necessary refreshments during dispatch process and also for the journey ahead.
On the security parameter, SSP Samba Shakti Pathak said that a fool proof security arrangements have been put in place and the sensitive points have been well secured in advance. Police party, CISF, Paramilitary force have also been stationed at polling station i.e. respective block office.
During the dispatcher process, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Gupta, ACR Kulbushan Khajuria, Dy. DEO Rajeev Magotra besides other designated nodal officers was also present. |
