MBA programme of TBS, JU gets accreditation by NBA

Jammu, Oct 23: The Business School, University of Jammu has been granted the accreditation for its flagship MBA program by the prestigious National Board of Accreditation (NBA), of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The NBA accreditation has been granted initially for three academic years ie from June 2019 to June 2022. The National Board of Accreditation is one of the two major bodies responsible for accreditation of higher education institutions in India along with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). NBA accredits Programs while NAAC accredits general colleges and universities NBA is a full member of the Washington Accord. The Business School is one of the leading University B- Schools to get this accreditation that represents the highest standard of achievement in management education and demonstrates its commitment to excellence. The NBA expert team conducted an onsite evaluation of the MBA Program at The Business School during 27th & 28th April, 2019. The NBA team evaluated the programme on various parameters which include infrastructure, placement of students, industrial exposure, profile of faculty members, national and international exposure of the students, research output and facilities, course curriculum, extracurricular engagements, social interactions etc. The accreditation shall help the students by facilitating transnational recognition of degree and mobility of students thus enhancing their employability. It also promotes intra and inter institutional interactions that is prerequisite for enhancing quality education. Prof Manoj Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu congratulated Prof Alka Sharma, Director The Business School and entire faculty of The Business School.
