Jammu, Oct 23: Airtel half marathon in its 15th Edition took place at Delhi in which 40000 participants from different countries participated. It is pertinent to mention about the enthusiasm of runners as sky rocketing. In different categories 5km 10km snd 21km . About 12000 participants made their entry in Half marathon and about 10000 completed in different age categories. From jammu about 30 runners participated. It is pertinent to mention that two senior runners got into leaderboard. Prabhat singh and Rajesh padha as timings 1.45 hrs and 1.43hrs respectively. As 4th and 8th rank in their age categories.
Gaurav gupta Secretary CCI the only barefoot runner from J&k again dusted half marathon barefoot in 2:13 hrs a great challenge always.
Rest Mukesh and Dilawer clocked thier personal best as 1.27hrs and 1.38hrs. Nakul Saraf, Kritika, Vinod Padha, Veenu Gopal, Sharat Sharma, Satbir Singh, Abhishek, Sandeep Singh Sanna Sharma, Col. Anil Sharma, Maj. Charak, Praveen raina all are finishers with good time. |
