RAJOURI, Oct 29: As a part of nationwide campaign 'Swachhta Hi Seva' the one stop centre for women Rajouri today organised a plantation drive in the office premises. The plantation drive was started by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh, while Nodal officer one stop centre for women, Bilal Mir, ward counsellor Rabia Qureshi, Sarpanch Dhanore, Aftab Choudhary besides staff members of OSC, MSk team, ICDS staff also took part in the event. Speaking during the event, the Chief Guest highlighted the importance of trees in human life, the need for planting more trees to preserve bio diversity and to ensure protection of the environment. The Administrator OSC, Neetu Sharma said that the plantation drive programme organised form part of series of activities OSC is going to organize in the coming days. She said the one stop centre has planned to hold cleanliness competition, slogan and poetry writing competition, holding cleanliness drive at Anganwadi centre level and Swachh Child Swachh parivar competition. |
