Dharal Dhandkot Road lying in dilapidated condition

RAJOURI, Nov 8: Rajouri - Dharal Dhandkot Road, which is 30 kms in length, has been lying in dilapidated condition causing huge inconvenience to commuters on daily basis.
Talking to Early Times here today, Mushtaq butt, Rajesh Kumar, Mohammd Tariq from Dharal area lambasted the authorities who have failed to maintain this important road as huge potholes on the road have become death trap for the motorists. They said that on one hand the Government is talking about transparency and accountability but on the other hand, this Rajouri - Dharal Dhandkot Road has not been upgraded by authorities since several years which clearly show the step motherly treatment with this area. They alleged that authorities have only made false promises and never acted on the executing agencies. Locals said that R&B Department for immediate repair of this road but till date nothing happened on ground which shows the irresponsible and careless attitude of these departments.
The people from Dhandkot Dharal Tehasil of Rajouri have appealed the Lt Governor UT Jammu and Kashmir GC Murmu to intervene personally so that Rajouri- Dharal road could be improved .The road should be immediately developed on priority.
