Jammu, Nov 8: An awkward situation was witnessed, when leaders of All India Congress Committee OBC Department failed to tell meaning of abbreviation of OBC to the media persons in the press conference which held today at Press Club Jammu.
The National Co-ordinator OBC Department along with other leaders today were holding press conference and made mockery of themselves for not having basic information of OBC and knowledge about reservation issue as they could not give the answer the full farm of OBC.
When Early Times scribe asked the meaning of OBC to the leaders, they were dumb struck on hearing the question and could not give answer and diverted the issue and started telling the main motive of the holding press conference.
Feeling embarrassed, they started criticizing Modi for unemployment, poverty, and giving financial benefits to capitalists but could not justify the reservation for OBC and the incident made them laughing stock in the press conference. Pertinently, the leaders were demanding 27% in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for OBC instead of 2% as per Mandal Commission report. |
