Jammu, Nov 13: A Division Bench of High Court comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Rajesh Bindal showing displeasure over non-implement of judgment, directed Chairman BOPEE to appear in person on tomorrow.
DB further directed Chairman BOPEE shall be responsible for bearing the cost of his travel from his personal funds. This significant order has been passed in contempt petition to comply with the judgment dated October 15, 2019 whereby Division Bench directed BOPEE to appoint Vasundhara Sharma under PwD (Person with Disability) category.
Today when the contempt petition was listed, Division Bench observed that petitioner complains that despite the judgment dated 15th October, 2019, granting her admission to the MBBS Course in the differently abled category, till date the needful has not been done.
Every day's delay is costing the petitioner heavily. DB after hearing petitioner in person, directed M. A. Bhukhari, Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations, shall remain personally present in the Court on the next date of hearing which is fixed for November 14, 2019. DB further directed that MA Bhukhari shall be responsible for bearing the cost of his travel from his personal funds. —JNF |
