DDC inspects patient care at SDH Sunderbani

RAJOURI, Nov 13: To take stock of the services being provided to the patients, District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today paid a surprise visit to Sub-District Hospital Sunderbani.
He also inspected progress on upcoming Sunderbani Government Degree College.
At SDH Sunderbani, the DDC took stock of the patient care facilities at different sections of the hospital including emergency ward, laboratory and x-ray unit, registration counter and OPD rooms. He also interacted with the patients and their attendants to assess the ease of getting treatment at the hospital.
Meanwhile, a deputation of local people met the DDC and informed that there is a dire need of a physician in the hospital. The DDC assured to the locals that he will take up the matter regarding posting of a physician with the concerned authorities. On the demands of the locals, he also sanctioned funds for the purchase of a blood storage refrigerator.
The DDC also reviewed the progress of under construction additional 100 bedded building and directed the PWD authorities to float the tender for finishing works without any delay to complete the building at the earliest.
Later the DDC visited the site of construction of Government Degree College Sunderbani and inquired about the status of work.
