Free medical camp organised to mark 550th Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Jammu, Nov 13: A grand free medical camp organised to to mark 550th Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji by Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital, Jammu at Gurudwara Guru Nank Dev ji Jammu in association with HEWA. 0ver all 2000 people were benefitted by the camp.
Dr. Mohan Singh Director Indian systems of Medicine and Homeopathy J&K inaugutared the camp. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Mohan singh said that for the promotion of Ayurved which is our ancient and time tested medical science. He said that Prime Minister Modi ji has created separate AYUSH ministry in Govt. of India, to promote AYUSH in India and abroad. The Himalayan State of J&K has the potential to lead nation in this respect because it is the store house of medicinal plants treasure.
Dr. Taran Singh Medical Superintendent of Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital, Jammu while speaking on the occasion said that make aware people about the uses of medicinal plants, its identification etc. frequent camps are being organised in and around Jammu city as the part of outreach programme of the hospital besides distributing free medicines to the ailing population after providing free expert consultation.
HEWA ( Health Employees Welfare Association) President S. Ravinder Singh Rozy and his team comprising Dr. Gurusharan Singh,Dr. Prince Singh, Dr. Manjit Singh, Kulwant Singh, Bhanvir Singh, harjit singh, Dalvinder Singh,Sartaj Singh, Partap singh organised free Dental camp and Diabetes detection camp on the occasion.
Dr. Ruhi Choudhary, Dr. Triveni Raina, Dr. Shabana Bano, Sudesh Kumar Sen. Pharmacist, Kewal Singh Sen Pharmacist, Mohinder Singh Sen. Pharamcist, Sudesh Kumar NO, Mohd. Shafi, Parshotam Kumar, Harbans lal Sat Pal provided their services for successful camp.
