IDPS Kathua celebrates Gurupurav

Kathua, Nov 13: International Delhi Public School Kathua celebrated guruparav with great zeal and enthusiasm. In morning a special assembly was conducted in which students recited shabad. Further Students and teachers visited Gurudwara in lieu of Gurupurav. Students from class 1st to 10th visited district Gurudwara. They worshipped God and seeked the blessings. Head of Gurudwara englightened students about the purpose of Gurupurav. Students recited shabad themselves. Director Academics cum Principal Mrs. Shuchita Gupta said that in International Delhi Public School Kathua our main focus on learning whether it is academic, co-curricular, spiritual or religious. Students learn a lot and respect every religion and community in the society. Our students and staff visited Gurudwara. We celebrate each and every occasion in our school to make our children aware of all the religions.
They were proper security arrangements for the safety of participants. Mrs. Shuchita Gupta, the school Director Academics cum Principal wished her entire team on this occasion and said to follow the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and then wished everyone a happy Gurupurav.
