Poonch, Nov 13: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Poonch Rahul Yadav today suspended four officials of Rural Development department in misappropriation of funds for non-existence works in Mendhar block.
According to sources, the DC Poonch has ordered an enquiry following allegations of misappropriation of funds RDD Officials. "The ADDC Poonch in the inquiry report submitted that some work of MGNREGA works shown executed in Galutta kangra Panchayat, Block Mendhar during the year 2019-20, were not been found executed on the site and public of the area has also confirmed that the said work had not been executed anywhere in the panchayat", sources told Early Times, adding that on the basis of enquiry report the Deputy Commissioner suspended for officials. "In view of the allegations and pending enquiry the four employees namely Basharat Hussain Shah Panchayat Secretary, Rizwan Ahmed Mir GRS, Waheed Khan NYC, Kursheed Ahmed MPW, have been put under suspension and attached with the DC office with immediate effect", they said, adding that the ACD Poonch has been directed to lodge an FIR into the matter and submit the copy of the same to DC office within 2 days. |
