| Munshi escaping transfer last 6 yrs, continues to occupy city PP | | |

JAMMU, Nov 13: Contradicting the transfer policy of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department has managed to remain in the same PP for the last six years and strike the deals before registering a case.
If highly placed police sources are to be believed, a Munshi, who is currently posted in a City Police Post has managed to stay on at the same Police Post from past 6 years. The said Police Official has never been transferred in other Police Post or Station by the Police Department because of his flaunts.
Police sources further added that he having political affiliation which is restricting higher Police officials to transfer him. While many officers including Incharge Police Post and other colleagues were transferred from the same place to another but said the officer is somehow managing the duty at same and even at same Police Post.
Police Sources alleged that the said police officer is not only violating the transfer policy but also working unlawfully by striking deals with accused persons. "The officer helps accused persons to settle any case without its reporting in the police post, "Police Sources also alleged. He also runs the 'Nafari' as per his own wish without anyone interference.
It seems the concerned senior officers of the Police department has no objection that the official continuously violating the transfer policy and running affairs unlawfully. |
