Pak-sponsored terrorists continue to play dirty games in Kashmir
100 days of uncertainity
11/13/2019 11:00:16 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 13: Despite passing of 100 days, life in Kashmir continues to remain out of gear. Uncertainity has been prevailing in the Valley since 5 August when centre reorganized Jammu & Kashmir and bifurcated it into two Union Territories - J&K and Ladakh.
Reports leading from Kashmir reveal that people are fed up and want normalcy to return but the Pakistan sponsored terrorists and their agents are enforcing shut down and are threatening the common people.
An analyst said, "Private Sector in Kashmir has been worst hit as shops and educational institutions have remained closed for the past hundred days and public transport vehicles have been off the roads since August 5. Shops open in main markets for two hours in the morning and then remain closed for rest of the day. Schools and colleges are functioning without students. Internet and pre-paid mobile services continue to remain barred and the early snowfall has added to the woes of people."
He said, "Terrorists throwing grenades at the crowded places and killing 11 non-locals including truckers has created fear in the Valley pushing people into the quagmire of uncertainity."
According to the media reports more than 1 lakh youth have lost their jobs in Kashmir since 5 August and many more could end up losing their livelihood if the uncertainity continues to prevail.
An observer said, "People who are defying the threats of the terrorists fear that they could become soft targets and could pay a heavy price for annoying the gun wielding ultras, who during the past four months have been targeting the civilians to send a message that they won't allow normal life to resume."
Another analyst said, "Security forces have frustrated the designs of the terrorists by not allowing them to strike in a big way in the Valley and on the other hand robust counter infiltration grid near the Line of Control has foiled the nefarious designs of Pakistan to push in terrorists into Jammu & Kashmir. Pakistan and terrorists know it very well that they have lost the plot. They have realized that they can keep the conflict alive only by targeting the commoners and they are doing it."
He said, "Pakistan is trying to control Kashmir on the dint of the gun. But the people are losing patience and they seem to be at the brink of breaking the shackles and the restrictions imposed by the Pak-sponsored terrorists."
