'Even paralysis could not diminish spirit of a teacher'

Rajouri, Nov 14: Fighting back his paralysis, a government teacher in Rajouri district has been continuously discharging his duties on his wheelchair for the last eight years.
Tilak Raj Sudan, who is resident of Dasal Pathanmora Ward No 14, is a teacher in Government Middle School Pathanmora in District Rajouri had an accident in 2011 in which his lower part of body got paralyzed. While narrating his ordeal, Tilak Raj said that on that un-fateful day he was going to Nowshera from Rajouri and he met with an accident at village Kalsian in 2011 which made his both legs paralyzed making him unable to walk. Although he underwent a long treatment for 2-3 years in Delhi to recover from paralysis but it could not help him much and ultimately had to take support of wheelchair.
Now he goes to school to discharge his duties of teaching on wheelchair, which is just 300 mtrs away from this resident and his wife give him helping hand in picking and dropping him on daily basis by pushing wheelchair of his husband to take him to school and vice-versa.
On looking at his courage, the locals appreciated his spirit and said that despite being paralysed from legs, he never lost his courage. They further said that in present time when some teachers who try to remain from their duties, he has set an example for those by continuously attending his duty.
