| Newly sanctioned Degree Colleges: Div Com Jammu reviews land acquisition | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 14: Divisional Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma, today directed DCs to expedite the process for acquisition and handing over of land to concerned departments for development of campuses for newly sanctioned degree colleges in Jammu division.
The Div Com said this at a meeting convened to review the progress on land acquisition for the newly sanctioned degree colleges in Jammu division and related issues.
Deputy Commissioners of Jammu division along with concerned officers attended the meeting through video conferencing.
Giving status report of their respective districts, Deputy Commissioners informed the meeting that land for the colleges has been identified in all districts and the process of land transfer is in progress.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Director Colleges, Secretary Red Cross, Additional Commissioner and other senior officers. |
