| GDC RS Pura organizes valedictory function | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 14: A valedictory function in connection with "celebrations of 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji" was organized by Govt. Degree College R.S Pura.
The event was graced by the benign presence of Shri Maan 108 Mahant Manjeet Singh Ji of Shiromani Dera Nangali Sahib, Poonch. Dr. Rajinder Singh, Associate Prof. GDC R.S Pura and convener of the Programme welcomed the guests. The event started with the lightening of the traditional lamp. A documentary on life and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was shown to the audience followed by a detailed report on various activities conducted during celebration of 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji w.e.f 14th Oct. 2019 till 11th Nov. 2019 by Dr. Rajinder Singh. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the various events by the chief guest along with Dr. Sunita Sudan and other senior staff members. Mahant Manjeet Singh Ji in his address to the students and staff members of the college emphasized on the teachings of Shri Gur Nanak Dev Ji. |
