Jammu, Nov 14: On the Occasion of 130th birth anniversary of first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, a function was organised to pay tribute to the beloved leader.
The function was held under the leadership of Senior Congress leader and former member legislative council Subash Gupta. So many prominent leaders paid floral tribute to Jawaharlal Nehru.
Subash Gupta, while paying tribute, said that Nehru propelled India towards modern age of technological advancements and innovations. He said that Nehru, during his term as the Prime minister, brought forward radical changes in domestic, agricultural, economic, international and social policies.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Yash Paul Singh, Vinay Sharma sarpanch, Parveen Bhagat, Somnath Verma, Mukesh Sudan, Davinder Kumar, Dharm Paul, Ashu Kumar, Kaniya Kumar, Tilak Raj and Madan Lal. |
