Jammu, Nov 16: A day-long awareness/demonstration organized by Civil Defence, Jammu programme was held at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Muneer Ahmed Khan, Additional Director General of Police Homeguards/Civil Defence & SDRF J&K-Jammu and under the supervision of DySP Shashi Thakur, Dy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu.
During the awareness Camp, the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Emergency methods of rescue, firefighting alongwith demonstration was given to the Security Guards of G Active Security Services deployed at Government Medical College and Associated Hospital Jammu held at Auditorium of Govt. Medical College by the Civil Defence Instructors/Team.
While speaking on the occasion, Dy Controller Civil Defence Jammu (DySP),Shashi Thakur, Sh. Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Jammu & Thakur Ranjit Singh, Dy Chief Warden highlighted the role of Civil Defence and also share their views regarding the importance of first Aid, Rescue Techniques, Do's and Don'ts during manmade/natural disaster.
Dr Dara Singh Superintendent of GMC Hospital Jammu appreciated the role of Civil Defence and thanked the Dy Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organizing the awareness programme. |
